New Vegas Type 3 Armor Replacer
I have been looking at some mods, and see a type 3 and type 6 body replacer mods.What is the difference? I don't really see it?Also, which one is the better one to use?

They have different meshes and appear differently in game.Though when adding items into the game that call for a specific body replacer it's best to use the one it suggests, as otherwise the skin textures won't render properly with the clothing. And as was pointed out to me the process for correcting that issue is quite the pain in the ass. Are type 3 mods compatible with type 6? Will it mess with the mods if i try to combine it?Yes they are since you are using similar textures. However, the dimensions of the armor will not change from the type 3 to type 6.You can use only one body replacer at a time, unless you are thinking of a companion that has a custom race.Then you can use whatever you want for the companion, as long as they have their own femaleupperbody.nif file.that's good, because type 3 seems to have the more Lore friendlly clothing replacers, i've yet to find some for type 6 but it has a good a power armor resizing for the females.
