If you've played the game from the same windows installation previously do this:1. Start search programs and files regedit2. Open that then right click HKEYLOCALMACHINE, then click find3.
Search for 'codkey' no caps no spaces without the apostrophes4. What comes up is your key code, open up cod4 and go options multiplayer options enter key code and put the code that the codkey says in there, then verifyThis is on Windows 7 64 bit, so if you're on vista or XP I'm not sure if the process is the same or not. I have been playing CoD for a long time with no problems.As i am playing it everyday, today it was the same.But when i wanted to play it after break again, i meet a problem.When i wanted to join any server, it say's that i have to retype my CD Key and i coudn't find it anywhere.I tried via 'regedit' and it's not showing anywhere codkey.I tried with right clicking on the CoD icon in my steam while i am logged in, and i remember earlier there was buttom that was showing the game key like 'View game CD key' and for now there isn't that option anymore.Any help please?Thank you.
