So the peeps that have not played quake 4 or quake 2, quake 4&2 are set in a universe where an alienrace (strogg) have declared war against humanity. Mankind has launched an assault on the strogg homeplanet and you are one of the soldiers. The main way how strogg build their army is taking biological components and fusing it with advanced technology. This means if you get captured and youre human that houses alot of biological components (limbs, organs) you are in a world of hurt. If you get captured, this is pretty much what is going to happen.basicly what happens in the video in a chronological fashion: youre on an escalator, youre pumped full of steroids, your legs are sawn off in switch off some more powerful cyber legs. You get some swanky new armor directly fused on your chest, then finally your face gets literally stabbed with and spike that implants an device that lets you read, understand, and use strogg stuff. You get canned in a jar and led to a registeration device that renders you full strogg, when the human squad comes and rescues you before the complete procedure.

From there you continue the game as a little bit more tougher and faster. My main question here is, could he actually survive getting stabbed to the chest, getting the limbs sawn off and get stabbed in the head with a spike, all with the help of some steroids? And wouldnt you overdose from that amount of it? Company of heroes tov maps. The periods of time where he could have bleed out in the middle of those processes are quite huge. Also the aliens probably sterilize the sawblades every time they use them, dont they(nope)? The process however, can be explained through x rays. They can scan the brain to determine where the spike shall begin injection and start stroggification. However, since they feel next to no pain, it can be said that nanotechnology can be included, BUT there are a few, and only a few references to where nanotechnology can be used to disable certain parts of the brain, disabling pain sensors and receptory. Despite losing most of its resources, the planet is still home to a small amount of savage animal life.
